stock strategies are a lot like those employed by traders of
other securities. There are many methods, many different approaches,
but in the end, buying low and selling high is the basic concept.
Some of the more popular strategies include:
"Reporting
Time" Investing - Investing around the time of annual or semi-annual
reports, when good news is expected. This is risky, and basically
gambling.
Swing
Trading - Studying charts and determining when a stock will swing,
then finding an IN-Point and excuting a pre-determined EXIT-Point.
Bottom
Picking - Finding stocks near their 52-week lows and investing
in a possible comeback.

when to buy and sell securities. It tracks it's progress as it
goes, and is quite successful. Only problem is, that it may not
be that easy to actually get the shares at that price.
